Text Mail provides a call completion option for subscribers without voicemail. Before the call times out, the caller hears a special IVR prompt offering them the ability to leave a voice message which will be automatically transcribed into text and delivered immediately the called party.
The subscriber receives the transcribed message by SMS, email or MMS according to their preferences.
Optionally, the original voice message can be attached as a .wav file.
Privacy is ensured since no human transcription agents are involved.
